Mons-en-Laonnois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laniscourt in the north and north-west, Clacy-et-Thierret in the north, Chivy-lès-Étouvelles in the east and south-east, Vaucelles-et-Beffecourt in the south, Bourguignon-sous-Montbavin in the south-west as well Montbavin to the west and south-west.
