Saint-Erme-Outre-et- Ramecourt is a French commune with 1,726 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Laon and the canton of Guignicourt (until 2015: canton of Sissonne ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Ermois .

Saint-Erme-Outre-et-Ramecourt is located about 20 kilometers east-southeast of Laon . Saint-Erme-Outre-et-Ramecourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montaigu in the north, Sissonne in the northeast, Amifontaine in the east and southeast, Goudelancourt-lès-Berrieux in the south, Saint-Thomas in the southwest, Courtrizy-et-Fussigny in the west as well Mauregny-en-Haye in the northwest. Immediately northeast of the municipality is the Camp de Sissonne military training area . The A26 autoroute runs through the municipality .
history
The place name Saint-Erme is derived from the holy Ermin von Lobbes (7th / 8th century), who was born here in the small village of Hérly. The three previously independent communities of Saint-Erme , Outre and Ramecourt were merged in 1802.
