Arrancy is the south-easternmost municipality in the canton of Laon-2. Surrounded Arrancy from neighboring communities Montchâlons in the northwest, Festieux in the north as well as in Canton Guignicourt located communities Courtrizy-et-Fussigny and Aubigny-en-Laonnois in the East, Sainte-Croix in the southeast, Bouconville-Vauclair in the southwest and Ployart-et Vaurseine in the west.
