Berry-au-Bac is a French municipality with 653 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France .
geography
The municipality is located on the Aisne and the Aisne Lateral Canal that accompanies it , about 20 kilometers northwest of Reims . Opposite Berry-au-Bac branches off the Aisne-Marne Canal , which crosses into the Marne Valley and there, via the Marne Lateral Canal, enables the navigable connection to continue into the south of France.

Under the name Höhe 108 ( French: Côte 108 ) there is a memorial on the remnants of a battlefield from the First World War as a monument historique under monument protection in the municipality .
In the area of the neighboring municipality of Juvincourt to the north there is an old military airfield from the time of the Second World War , the Aerodrome Berry au Bac-Juvincourt .
