Festieux is a French municipality with 680 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the Région Hauts-de-France (2016: Picardie ). It belongs to the Laon arrondissement , the Laon-2 canton (until 2015: Laon-Sud canton ) and the Laonnois community association .

The place lies in the headwaters of the river Barentons . Festieux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Arrancy in the south, Montchâlons in the southwest, Veslud in the northwest, Eppes in the north and the communities of Mauregny-en-Haye in the canton of Guignicourt in the east and Courtrizy-et-Fussigny in the southeast.
