The community is located around 33 kilometers west of Laon Prefecture and 17 kilometers north of Soissons . Jumencourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landricourt in the east, Leuilly-sous-Coucy in the southeast, Crécy-au-Mont in the southwest, Coucy-le-Château-Auffrique in the west and Coucy-la-Ville in the north.
