The community is located around nine kilometers east of the city of Laon on the Barentons River . Eppes is surrounded by the neighboring communities Parfondru in the west, Athies-sous-Laon in the north-west, Samoussy in the north, Festieux in the south-east, Veslud in the south and south-west and the communes of Coucy-lès-Eppes and Mauregny-en-Haye in the canton of Guignicourt East.
