Monceau-lès-Leups is about 26 kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Quentin and 22 kilometers northwest of Laon . Monceau-lès-Leups is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nouvion-et-Catillon in the north, Remies in the northeast, Couvron-et-Aumencourt in the south and east, Versigny in the west and Courbes in the north-west.

The A26 autoroute runs on the northeastern edge of the municipality .
