Remies is a French commune with 235 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aisne department of the Hauts-de-France region (until 2015: Picardy ). It belongs to the Laon arrondissement , the Marle canton (until 2015: Crécy-sur-Serre canton ) and the Pays de la Serre municipality .
geography
The Serre forms the north-eastern border to the neighboring municipality of Mesbrecourt-Richecourt . Other neighboring communities are Assis-sur-Serre in the east, Couvron-et-Aumencourt in the south, the municipality of Monceau-lès-Leups in the canton of Tergnier in the west and Nouvion-et-Catillon in the north-west.
