history

The first written mention of Olešnice comes from 1186. The place was a fortified manor house, which was owned by the Koňatov family from Olešnice in the 14th and 15th centuries. The next landlord was Zikmund Kebar von Mirošovice, who was succeeded from 1499 by the Kraigers von Kraigk .

The next lords on Olešnice were the Pouzar von Michnice, who had acquired the property from Wolf Kraiger von Kraigk. Albrecht Pouzar von Michnice was expropriated after the battle of the White Mountain . In 1623 the town council of Budweis bought the village, which in 1628 sold it to Gerhard von Straten. In the period from 1680 to 1717 the place belonged to the Counts Buquoyschen rule Gratzen . From the next owner, Johann Adam Hunger, a citizen of Budweis, the city of Budweis acquired it again in 1727. Elexnitz was owned by Budweiser until the manors were replaced in 1850 and since then has been an independent municipality. In 1986 Buková was incorporated.
