Another part belonged to the Frauenberg lordship , this comprised 14 subjects according to the Frauenberger land registry of 1490. Wilhelm II of Pernstein bought the Machowitz share from Břehov in 1491 and struck it in Frauenberg. In the 18th and 19th centuries, iron ore was mined in the vicinity of the village. The pheasant garden at the Picina hunter's house was closed in 1818. In 1840 Břehow consisted of 27 houses with 188 inhabitants. There was an inn in the village. The parish was Pištín . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was always subject to the Frauenberg rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Břehov / Břehow or Schwiehalm 1850 with the districts Tupesy and Malé Chrášťany a municipality in the district of Budweis . In 1910 there were 417 Czech-speaking residents in the village, while the district of Břehov had 230 residents. Tupesy and Malé Chrášťany broke away in August 1919 and formed their own communities. On June 12, 1960 it was incorporated into Žabovřesky. After a referendum, Břehov broke away from Žabovřesky on November 24, 1990.
