Lipí (German lips ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers southwest of České Budějovice in South Bohemia and belongs to the Okres České Budějovice .
geography
Lipí is located at the foot of Blanský les in the Budweiser Basin. The village is on the right side of the Dehtářský creek . The Kluk (740 m) rises to the south, the Haberský vrch (718 m) and the Švelhán (721 m) to the south-west, the Střední hora (718 m) and Skalka (687 m) to the west and the Čihadlo (519 m) to the north-west . To the northeast are the ponds Panin rybník, Starý haberský rybník, Žabinec and Haberský mlýnský rybník. České Budějovice Airport extends to the east . To the west is the Panin rybník pond, to the north-west of the Žabinec and Starý haberský rybník and south of the Štětků bathing pond.
Neighboring towns are Na Kotlovech, U Zedníků and Dubné in the north, Mrzutá, Třebín and Kaliště u Lipí in the northeast, Planá and Homole in the east, Nové Homole and Závraty in the southeast, U Zajíčka, Hradce , Slavče and U Konopí in the south, Hastrman, Povišer , Adámek, Vobr, Ludvík, Bohouškovice, Stupná and Chmelná in the south-west, Horní Vít, Habří , U Fajtalů, Dolní Vít and U Pufrů in the west and Bedlan, Kvítkovice , Nový Mlýn and Čakovec in the north-west.
history
Remains of an early settlement from the Bronze , Hallstatt and Latène ages were found in the Travní corridor one kilometer southeast of the village . In the same area, a hill grave from the period around 750–500 BC was also found in the U Zajíčka single layer . Discovered, in which a Hallstatt-era princely grave is suspected.
The first written mention of the village Lypye was in 1389. Later most of the village was attached to the Krumlov rule . In 1840, including the single- tier Simandl and Bedlan farms , lip / Lipý consisted of 37 houses with 336 residents. With the exception of four Dominicalist houses subordinate to the Komařice monastery, in which 40 people lived, Lips belonged to the Krumlov rule until the middle of the 19th century. The parish was Duben .
After the abolition of patrimonial Lipí / lips formed a municipality with the districts of Kaliště in the district administration of Budějovice / Budweis. In 1914 there were 553 Czech-speaking people living in the village. Lipí had 349 inhabitants, in Kaliště there were 204. At the beginning of 1961 Habří and 1964 Kvítkovice was incorporated. Since November 24, 1990 Habří and Kvítkovice form their own communities again.
Community structure
The municipality Lipí consists of the districts Lipí ( lips ) and Kaliště u Lipí ( Kallischt ), which also form cadastral districts. Lipí also includes Adámek, Hastrman, Povišer, Mrzutá and U Zedníků.
