Saint-Christophe is a French municipality with 332 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Vienne (until 2015 Confolens-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Christophoriens .

geography

Saint-Christophe is located about 55 kilometers northeast of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Val d'Issoire in the north, Nouic in the northeast, Montrollet in the east, Brigueuil in the south, Saulgond in the southwest and Lesterps in the west. The municipality is crossed by the Marchadaine river.
