geography
Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or is a banlieue about ten kilometers north of the city center of Lyon on the western bank of the Saône . Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Albigny-sur-Saône in the north, Fleurieu-sur-Saône in the north-east, Rochetaillée-sur-Saône in the east and south-east, Saint-Romain-au-Mont-d ' Or in the south, Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or in the southwest, Poleymieux-au-Mont-d'Or in the west and Curis-au-Mont-d'Or in the west.
