Taluyers is a French commune with 2,539 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Administratively, the municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lyon and is part of the canton of Saint-Symphorien-d'Ozon (until 2015: canton of Mornant ). Taluyers is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Lyon in the Monts du Lyonnais of the Massif Central . The neighboring municipalities of Taluyers are Orliénas in the north, Montagny in the east, Beauvallon in the south and Saint-Laurent-d'Agny in the west.
