Maison Ampère
The physicist André-Marie Ampère grew up in Poleymieux-au-Mont-d'Or . The house of his childhood and youth dates from the 17th century and is now home to the Musée Ampère , which opened on July 1, 1931. The museum includes a library and numerous electrical machines and instruments that visitors can use to conduct experiments.
