Sainte-Colombe (also: Sainte-Colombe-lès-Vienne ) is a French municipality with 1909 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Sainte-Colombe is part of the Arrondissement of Lyon and the Canton of Mornant (until 2015: Canton Condrieu ).

geography

Sainte-Colombe is about 26 kilometers south of Lyon on the Rhône . Sainte-Colombe is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Romain-en-Gal in the north and north-west, Vienne in the east and Saint-Cyr-sur-le-Rhône in the south-west.

The A7 autoroute and the former route nationale 86 (today's D386) run through the municipality .
