Dardilly is located in western Lyonnais , around ten kilometers northwest of Lyon . Neighboring municipalities are Champagne-au-Mont-d'Or , Charbonnières-les-Bains , Dommartin , Écully , Limonest , Lissieu and La Tour-de-Salvagny .

politics

The municipal council has 29 members. Its members include the mayor ( Maire at) Michèle Vullien and eight councilors and 20 local councils. Mayor Michèle Vullien has been in office since 1995 and was re-elected in 2001 and 2008.
