Larajasse is located about 30 km southwest of Lyon in the Monts du Lyonnais on the Coise . Larajasse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-sur-Coise in the north, Saint-Martin-en-Haut in the north and northeast, Sainte-Catherine in the east, Saint-Romain-en-Jarez in the south and southeast, Marcenod in the south, and Châtelus in the south and south-west, Coise in the west and Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise and Pomeys in the north-west.
