Fleurieu-sur-Saône is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Neuville-sur-Saône in the north, Montanay in the northeast, Cailloux-sur-Fontaines in the east and southeast, Fontaines-Saint-Martin in the south and southeast, Rochetaillée-sur-Saône in the south, Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or in the southwest and Albigny-sur-Saône in the west.
