Maupas ( Gascon : MAUPAS) is a French municipality with 203 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Condom and the community association Grand Armagnac . The residents call themselves Maupassois / Maupassoises .
Maupas is surrounded by the neighboring communities Estang in the north and northeast, Panjas in the east and southeast, Laujuzan in the south, Monlezun-d'Armagnac in the southwest, Toujouse in the west and Castex-d'Armagnac in the west and northwest.
