history
Earliest written mention as Preceptoria Saliceti in 1219, 1695 as Saint Jean de Sallettes . At that time owned by the Maltese - Coming from Le Poët-Laval , it later fell to Guyon, then to the papal possessions , later to Plèche, Lattier and finally Viennois. The inhabitants are called Salettois or Salettoises .
