Salles is a French municipality with 329 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Niort and the canton of Celles-sur-Belle (until 2015 La Mothe-Saint-Héray ). The inhabitants are called salladins .

Salles is located about 27 kilometers east-northeast of Niort . Salles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soudan in the north, Pamproux in the east, Bougon in the east and south-east, La Mothe-Saint-Héray in the south and south-west and Sainte-Eanne in the west.
