Tramm is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). It is administered by the Crivitz Office. On July 1, 2011, Göhren was incorporated into Tramm, which almost doubled the size of the municipality.
Geography and traffic
The community is located south of the federal highway 321 . The federal motorway 14 (approx. 18 km) can be reached via the Schwerin-Ost junction. The community is located about seven kilometers south of Crivitz and about eight kilometers east of Banzkow . The Gramnitzbach and Störkanal flow through the municipality. In the south of the community lie the forest and meadow area of the Lewitz and part of the nature reserve Fischteiche . The highest point is the wooded Crows Mountains at 74 m above sea level. NHN west of Tramm. The Settiner See is located near Göhren . It is the only larger natural lake in the municipality. The Settiner Tannen forest is on its banks.

history
On July 1, 2011, Göhren joined the community of Tramm.
Settin: In the 16th century, Settin was known as the main state stud for its horse breeding. Landowners were u. a. the families Zarnekow (mid-19th century), Rehm (from around 1900) and Oertel (1939–1945). The renovated manor house owned by Oertel has been a guest house since 1998.
Tramm: The late Gothic village church of Tramm dates from the 15th century.

Coat of arms, flag, official seal
The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off the neck fur and crown and the inscription "• GEMEINDE TRAMM • LANDKREIS LUDWIGSLUST-PARCHIM".

- Wooden geese in front of the church, which are supposed to refer to the peculiarity of the Trammer: "Eigen as de Trammer Gös (Gäus), sitten up't Water un supen nich." ( Stubborn like the Trammer geese, sit on the water and don't drink. )
Sports
- A football club called FC Tramm has also been founded in 2016. Since they lost all games in their first season, they were allowed to play for the Super Dupi Cup and "won" them. This competition kings the worst soccer team in Germany every year.
