Regulations

Following a reform of the UCI rankings, the calendar year driver and nation rankings of the UCI WorldTour should first be abolished and replaced by corresponding world rankings on a 52-week basis, which take into account all international races. A team rating should remain, which is calculated from the results of the three drivers with the highest points in each WorldTour competition - including the points for stage results, guided tours, mountain and point ratings. The point scale should correspond to that of the world rankings. Teams that place in the top ten in the team time trial of the UCI Road World Championships should receive between 400 and 60 additional points. After protests by the teams, this rule change was suspended for 2015.

The following points were awarded for the UCI WorldTour Ranking in the UCI WorldTour 2015 :

The team ranking and the nation ranking were determined by adding up the points of the five best drivers from each team or nation. Additional points were awarded to teams that placed in the top ten in the team time trial of the 2015 UCI Road World Championships .
