Kole is a district in northern Uganda . The capital of the district is Kole .

The district of Kole is bordered by the Lira district to the east, the Apac district to the south and the Oyam district to the west and north .

history

The district was created in 2010 from parts of the Apac district.

Demographics

The population is estimated at 284,300 for 2020. In the same year 3.7 percent of them lived in urban regions and 96.3 percent in rural regions.
