The “Prince Street of the Wettins” is a themed street that leads through five German federal states and parts of Poland .

The route network of the "Fürstenstrasse der Wettin" is mainly in the former government area of ​​the Wettins , one of the oldest German princely families . The southern starting point is Bayreuth , which was never under the control of the dynasty, but August the Strong married the Bayreuth Princess Christiane Eberhardine there .

The initiators would like to use the holiday route to open up the rich cultural and natural landscape of Central Germany for interested car tourists.
