Harry Benjamin Wolf

Harry Benjamin Wolf (born June 16, 1880 in Baltimore , Maryland , †  February 17, 1944 there ) was an American politician . Between 1907 and 1909 he represented the state of Maryland in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Harry Wolf attended the public schools in his home country. After a subsequent law degree at the University of Maryland and his admission as a lawyer in 1901, he began to work in Baltimore in this profession. He was also active in the real estate business. At the same time he embarked on a political career as a member of the Democratic Party . Between 1906 and 1908 he was a member of the Maryland House of Representatives .

In the congressional elections of 1906 , Wolf was elected to the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC in the third constituency of Maryland , where he succeeded Frank Charles Wachter on March 4, 1907 . Since he was not confirmed in 1908, he could only complete one legislative period in Congress until March 3, 1909 . After his time in the US House of Representatives, Wolf resumed his previous activities. He died on February 17, 1944 in his hometown of Baltimore, where he was also buried.
