John Kronmiller

John Kronmiller (born December 6, 1858 in Baltimore , Maryland , †  June 19, 1928 there ) was an American politician . Between 1909 and 1911 he represented the state of Maryland in the US House of Representatives .

Career

John Kronmiller attended both public and private schools and went into commerce. He also made ivory goods. At the same time he embarked on a political career as a member of the Republican Party . Between 1905 and 1907 he was a member of the Baltimore City Council. In the congressional elections of 1908 he was elected to the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC in the third constituency of Maryland , where he succeeded Harry Benjamin Wolf on March 4, 1909 . Since he refused to run again in 1910, he could only complete one legislative period in Congress until March 3, 1911 .

From 1908 to 1910 he was a member of the Baltimore Penitentiary's Visitors Committee; in 1913 and 1914 he was director of the Maryland General Hospital . He was then from 1914 to 1916 a member of the electoral committee of the city of Baltimore. Otherwise, he resumed his previous activities. John Kronmiller died on June 19, 1928 in Baltimore, where he was also buried.
