The Switzerland took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Canadian Vancouver with a total of 146 athletes in 14 sports part.

It was therefore the largest Swiss delegation in the history of the Olympic Winter Games . With Daniel Albrecht , Lara Gut , Martina Schild and Fränzi Aufdenblatten (all alpine skiing), Tanja Frieden (snowboard), Gregor Stähli (skeleton) and Martin Gerber (ice hockey), however, some well-known Swiss winter athletes had to forego participation due to injuries. Double Olympic champion Philipp Schoch (snowboard) missed the qualification shortly after returning from a two-year injury break.
