Run Back to Your Side is a rock song written by Eric Clapton and Doyle Bramhall II and released both as a single and on the album Clapton in 2010 . The single was released under Reprise Records .

In addition to Clapton on guitar and as a singer, Bramhall II and Derek Trucks also played guitar on the recording . Bass played Willie Weeks , on drums and percussionist is Jim Keltner be heard on the recording. Walt Richmond played the piano and the backing vocals were done by Debra Parsons, Lynn Mabry and Nikka Costa .

The single was ranked 18th on the Billboard Adult Alternative Songs chart and stayed there for a total of twelve weeks. At the Grammy Awards 2011 the title was nominated in the category "Best Solo Vocal Performance - Rock" ("Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance").
