Warren County is a county in the US state of Kentucky in the United States . The county seat is Bowling Green .

The county is located in southwest Kentucky, about 25 km to the south from the state of Tennessee and has an area of ​​1,419 square kilometers, of which six square kilometers are water. It is bordered in a clockwise direction by the following counties: Butler County , Edmonson County , Barren County , Allen County , Simpson County, and Logan County .

Warren County was formed on December 14, 1796 from parts of Logan County. It was named after General Joseph Warren , who died at the Battle of Bunker Hill .

According to the 2000 census , Warren County's population was 92,522. Of these, 5,559 people lived in collective accommodation, the other residents lived in 35,365 households and 23,411 families.
