The county is located in western Kentucky at the confluence of the Tennessee River and the Cumberland River in the Ohio , which also forms the northern border with Illinois . history
Livingston County was formed on December 13, 1798 from former parts of Christian County. It was named after Robert Livingston (1746–1813), one of the founding fathers of the USA.
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census , Livingston County had 9,519 people in 3,955 households. The population density was .. inhabitants per square kilometer.
