Australian national cricket team in Sri Lanka for the 2003/04 season
The tour of the Australian national cricket team to Sri Lanka in the 2003/04 season took place from February 20 to March 28, 2004. The international cricket tour was part of the 2003/04 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . Australia won the Test Series 3–0 and the ODI Series 2–3.

Sri Lanka previously played a tour against England , Australia a three-nation tournament in Australia . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002/03 season in Australia .

After the end of the tour it became known that the English referee Chris Broad had reported the Sri Lankan bowler Muttiah Muralitharan to the world association due to suspicious bowling. It was particularly about the Doosra and the problem of Muralitharan's proven in experiments to fully stretch his arm.
