Diamonds Made From Rain is a rock song written by Nikka Costa , Justin Stanley and Doyle Bramhall II for Eric Clapton's 2010 album Clapton . The title was also released on CD single and as a download .

Recording and music

The recording was produced by Eric Clapton himself, together with Doyle Bramhall. Eric Clapton and Sheryl Crow act as lead vocalists on the recording. On drums are Jim Keltner and Jeremy Stacey represented. Bramhall II is also active as a singer and guitarist , like Clapton and is accompanied by Willie Weeks on bass, Walt Richmond on piano and Sereca Henderson on Hammond organ . The winds include Printz Board ( trumpet ) and Tim Izo Orindgreff ( saxophone ). The London Session Orchestra accompanies the song with strings. Background vocals are performed by Nikka Costa, Debra Parsons and Lynn Marby.

The piece is in the original key of A minor .
