Mauriac is about 60 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . Mauriac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ruch in the north, Saint-Antoine-du-Queyret in the east and northeast, Soussac in the east and southeast, Cazaugitat in the south and southeast, Cleyrac in the south and southwest and Blasimon in the west.
