Attendees

  • Countries that participated in 1982
  • A total of six countries took part in the first Eurovision Young Musicians. While Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom celebrated their first participation in 1982, Norway's first participation in 1982 had something special.

Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden participated together. Since there was no space for nine participants in the program, as this would otherwise exceed the time frame of the event, the four countries sent a participant together in 1982. This then took part under the Norwegian flag, so that actually only Norway made its debut in 1982.
