The 15th Eurovision Young Musicians took place on May 14, 2010 in Vienna , the capital of Austria . It was the fifth competition in total and the third in a row that took place in Vienna. It was also the opening concert of the Wiener Festwochen . The winner of the competition was the flautist Eva-Nina Kozmus from Slovenia . She won a master class scholarship . The top three winners received a cash prize and a “Eurovision Young Musicians” trophy.
Semi-finals
The semi-finals took place on 8 and 9 May in Broadcasting House Vienna instead. It was only open to invited listeners, but the public could also follow it via a stream on the Eurovision Young Musicians homepage.

final
The final took place on Friday, May 14, 2010 on Vienna's Rathausplatz in front of around 45,000 people. The participants were judged by an expert jury headed by Péter Eötvös .
The finalists were accompanied by the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Cornelius Meister .
