The 14th Eurovision Young Dancers took place on June 19, 2015 in Pilsen , Czech Republic . It was the first time that the Czech Republic hosted a Eurovision event. Ten countries took part in 2015. Poland won the competition for the second time since 2001 . The winner is Viktoria Nowak.

venue

The venue was announced on November 29, 2014. The competition took place in the Nové divadlo (New Theater) in Pilsen. It has 461 seats.

Moderation

On March 10, 2015 it was announced that Libor Bouček will host the show.

jury

The jury was announced on June 5, 2015. This decided who wins the event. The jury included:

• Jiří Bubeníček (Czech Republic)
• Alexandra 'Spicey' Landé (Canada)
• Zenaida Yanowsky (Spain)

Attendees

This year, like last year, ten countries took part. Albania and Malta participated in the competition for the first time in 2015. Armenia and Belarus, which made their debut in the competition in 2013, did not take part. Also, Ukraine did not participate after returning to the competition in 2013. Slovakia will return to the competition in 2015 after last participating in 1997 . In addition, for the first time since 2012 , Slovakia participated in a Eurovision event.

•  Armenia : On January 30, 2015, ARMTV announced that they would not participate in the 2015 competition.
•  Belgium : On December 3, 2014, VRT announced that Belgium would not return to the competition in 2015.
•  Finland : On December 10, 2014, YLE announced that Finland would not return to the competition in 2015. The broadcaster said that you cannot participate at the moment but hope to return to the competition in the near future.
•  Ireland : On November 28, 2014, RTÉ announced that Ireland would not return to the competition in 2015. So far it has only participated in 2001.
•  Croatia : On January 30th, 2015 the Croatian television HRT announced that it would not take part in the event in Pilsen.
•  Latvia : On March 5, 2015, the Latvian broadcaster LTV announced that Latvia would not return to the competition in 2015. It last participated in 2005.
•  Ukraine : On April 7, 2015, it was announced that Ukraine would not participate in 2015. No reason was given.
•  United Kingdom : The BBC announced that there will be a new show in 2015 called "BBC Young Dancer". This gave hope for a return to the competition. On October 7, 2014, however, it was announced that there were no plans to return to the competition.
•  Belarus : On February 26, the Belarusian broadcaster announced that it would not participate in 2015.
