Juwilejne (Ukrainian Ювілейне - Ukrainian officially since May 12, 2016 Kateryniwka / Катеринівка; Russian Юбилейное / Jubileinoje ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine with around 16,000 inhabitants.
The place is centrally located in the Luhansk Oblast , about 10 kilometers west of the Oblast capital Luhansk , south of the Luhan River.
The settlement council municipality is part of the municipality of Luhansk and administratively subordinated to the Stadtrajon Artemiwsk .
Juwilejne was established as a mining settlement in 1955 and was granted urban-type settlement status in 1968.
Since summer 2014, the city has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
