Premier League 1992/93

The Premier League 1993/94 was the second season of the Premier League , which was hosted by the FA , and at the same time the 95th first division season in English football. It began on August 14, 1993 and ended on May 8, 1994.

Manchester United was able to successfully defend its championship title from the previous season. In the First Division , the promoted Swindon Town and Oldham Athletic and Sheffield United had to relegate. The top scorer was Andrew Cole of Newcastle United with 34 goals .

A total of 541 players were used, with Ipswich Town with 21 the fewest and Manchester City with 32 the most players in league games. 98 newcomers were opposed to 146 footballers who last played in the 1993/94 season. 15 players were able to play all 42 league games of their club.
