The three- cushion world cup 1994/3 was the 1st BWA world cup tournament in the ninth year of the three-cushion world cup. The tournament took place from September 22nd to 25th, 1994 in this discipline of carom billiards in Istanbul . It was the second three-cushion World Cup tournament in Istanbul.

history

At the first BWA World Cup tournament of the year with new regulations, the Dutchman Dick Jaspers was able to enter the list of winners of the World Cup for the second time. The crowning glory of his performance was the quarter-finals against Tonny Carlsen from Denmark. Jaspers was the first player in three-cushion history to achieve an average of more than three points in one match. The new world record single average (BED) stands at 3.214 . Second was the record world champion Raymond Ceulemans , who beat the world number one Torbjörn Blomdahl in the semifinals .

The exact price money could not be determined from the documents. However, as in all BWA World Cup tournaments, it was at least 100,000 DM.
