The three- cushion world cup 2007/7 was the seventh UMB / ACBC world cup tournament in the 21st year of the three- cushion world cup. The tournament took place from 10 to 15 December 2007 in this discipline of carom billiards in Suwon . It was the first three-cushion World Cup tournament in Suwon.

history

Since 1999 there has been another three-cushion World Cup tournament in South Korea. In a tournament marked by surprises, Daniel Sánchez won 3-0 sets against the Vietnamese Tran Chi Thanh, who is unknown in Europe. Sánchez's victory was in serious danger in the round of 16. He was only able to prevail against the Japanese surprise world champion Ryūji Umeda in the fifth set. He won this in the tightest of all results with 15:14 in six shots. The Vietnamese Tran needed three sets of five to win until the final. Third place went to the Peruvian Ramón Rodriguez, who was third at the World Championships in Cuenca / Ecuador, together with Frédéric Caudron . The overall World Cup winner of the year and world number one Torbjörn Blomdahl had to find out how strong the Koreans are on the way up . There was a 1: 3 defeat against Lee Choong-bok.
