The three- cushion world cup 2010/4 was the fourth and last UMB / CEB world cup tournament in the 24th year of the three- cushion world cup. The tournament took place from December 5th to 11th, 2010 in Hurghada , Egypt . It was the sixth World Cup tournament in Hurghada.
history
After two second places by Nikos Polychronopoulos and one by Filipos Kasidokostas in April of that year in Suwon, a Greek World Cup winner was the first time in the 132nd World Cup tournament. In the final, Kasidokostas defeated world number one Frédéric Caudron with 3-1 sets and was third behind Caudron in the 2010 World Cup. For Kasidokostas it was the greatest success after his victory at the three-cushion world championship in Lausanne in 2009. The annual ranking went to Dick Jaspers from the Netherlands . It was his fourth overall World Cup victory.

The three-cushion World Cup was organized by the founding association, the "
Billiards Worldcup Association " (BWA) until 1998 . Disputes between the BWA and the world association
Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) led to parallel tournaments between 1994 and 1997. The UMB / BWA organized the tournament together until the beginning of 1999. Since the dissolution of the BWA in 1999, the UMB has been the sole organizer.
From 1988-1991 the UMB did not host any world championships. During this time, the annual overall winner of the World Cup was crowned world champion.
