The three- cushion world cup 1992/6 was the 6th and last world cup tournament in the seventh year of the three-cushion world cup. It took place from 9th to 13th December 1992 in this discipline of carom billiards on the Balearic island of Palma . It was the fifth three-cushion World Cup tournament in Palma.

In the last World Cup tournament of the year, the points awarded were increased by 50%. But even this fact could not prevent Torbjörn Blomdahl from winning the overall World Cup for the third time after 1988 and 1991. It was his 15th World Cup victory of 36 tournaments so far. Raymond Ceulemans came in second, ahead of Sang Chun Lee and Richard Bitalis . In Palma Blomdahl only had problems in the round of 16 to only beat Marco Zanetti in the fifth set with 15: 9 in 12 shots. In the further tournament he only gave one sentence.

The exact price money could not be determined from the documents. However, as in all BWA World Cup tournaments, it was at least 100,000 DM.

The World Cup tournament was played as an open tournament again. From a pre-qualification with 48 participants, 12 participants qualified for the 1/16 final and got 6 points for the world rankings. The main tournament was played with 28 participants. The first four of the world rankings were set for the second round. The players qualified in Spa must take part in the pre-qualification. The whole tournament was played in the KO system with three sets of 15 points each.
