The three- cushion world cup 2010/1 was the first UMB / CEB world cup tournament in the 24th year of the three-cushion world cup. The tournament took place from February 15th to 21st, 2010 in the Belconti Resort Hotel in Belek in the holiday region of Antalya . It was the 13th World Cup tournament in Turkey since 1993.

history

For the first time, a Korean could win a World Cup tournament with Kim Kyung-roul . Kim, who was the best Korean in the World Cup in recent years, defeated the world number three Dick Jaspers with 3: 2 sets in an exciting final . For Martin Horn , the tournament confirmed that Antalya is a good place for him. After his win last year, he finished third this time. For world number one Frédéric Caudron , the tournament almost turned into a debacle. Against the increasingly stronger French Jérémy Bury , he was already 0-2 sets behind. Thanks to an energetic performance, he was able to turn the match 3: 2 sets in his favor.
