The three- cushion world cup 1990/3 was the 3rd world cup tournament in the fifth year of the three-cushion world cup. It took place from November 23 to 25, 1990 in this discipline of carom billiards in Berlin , Germany . It was the fifth three-cushion World Cup tournament in Berlin.

history

Berlin is obviously a good place for Ludo Dielis . As in the previous year, he was able to add himself to the list of winners. He won his second World Cup tournament with his best World Cup performance. He played an excellent general average (GD) of 1.644 . But he was surpassed by his final opponent Torbjörn Blomdahl . This just missed the general average world record and played a GD of 1.909 . The best individual average (BED) was played by the old master Raymond Ceulemans in the game for third place. Against local hero Dieter Müller , he reached 2,500 . For Müller it was the best result of the season. The young Saarlander Frank Jungfleisch had a strong performance in the round of 16. After 0: 2 set deficit, he was able to defeat the World Cup winner from Antwerp Richard Bitalis with 3: 2 sets.
