The three- cushion world cup 2005/4 was the fourth and last UMB / CEB world cup tournament in the 19th year of the three-cushion world cup. The tournament took place from 8 to 13 November 2005 in this discipline of carom billiards in Istanbul . It was the fifth three-cushion World Cup tournament in Istanbul.

In the fourth World Cup tournament of the year, Torbjörn Blomdahl was the fourth winner. For the third time in a row, Frédéric Caudron lost the final. With that he had collected the most points and became the overall World Cup winner for the first time.

Tournament mode

Three qualifying rounds were played in Istanbul. From the last qualifying round, the 13 group winners qualified for the final round. There were also wildcard players from the host and associations from America and Asia. The main tournament was played with 32 participants.

In the event of a tie, the following order will be applied:

2. SV = rate ratio
3. GD = general average
4. HS = maximum series
