Josef Muellner 1916 The memorial for Karl Lueger is structured as follows: above a multi-part base zone there is a round three-tiered base, on top of which there is a round base with relief scenes and four stone statues, in turn a high octagonal base with the bronze statue of the mayor of Vienna. The reliefs and larger-than-life figures are supposed to show Lueger's achievements as mayor: workers with gas pipes - municipalization of the gas works, farm workers - creation of the forest and meadow belt, grieving mother - widow and orphan welfare, old man - construction of the Lainz care home.

Karl von Hasenauer , Kaspar von Zumbusch 1888 A curved multi-sided plinth is located on three steps above a wide-reaching plateau with fencing, above it rises a four-sided colossal plinth with coupled columns, between which there are reliefs in round arches and standing figures in front of them (important men from administration, science and art). On the same level, on the pedestals protruding from the base, there are four equestrian statues of important military men. The monument is crowned by the figure of the Empress on the throne, who holds the pragmatic sanction certificate and the scepter in her left hand, her right hand raised in greeting, Maria Theresa is flanked by four allegories seated on the cornice.
