The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Bergerac and the canton of Lalinde (until 2015: canton of Beaumont-du-Périgord ).

The community is also known locally as Sainte-Croix-de-Beaumont .

The name in the Occitan language is Senta Crotz ( German  Heiligkreuz ).

Sainte-Croix is ​​located about 30 km southeast of Bergerac in the Bergeracois area of the historic province of Périgord on the southern edge of the department.

Population development
